Conversations for Truth

I teach movement, connection, cooperation, communication, and conversation. The closest I care to get to “fighting” is the practice of “conversation”.

Conversation: The practice of exploring the converse. Playing devil’s advocate. Looking for the ultimate truth. Challenging biases and preknowledge.

The difference between fighting vs conversation, is that fighting implies a sense of threat or aggression, rather than an objective pursuit and expression of truth. I have full confidence in the truth. I don’t need to prove my point. I only need to be with the truth.

Nothing is more powerful than the truth. If there was something better, I’d go with that. I don’t need to prove ‘my’ point, I just want to gain a better relationship with the truth. After all, if you stand against the truth, you will have a difficult life.

I love welcoming new joiners into our practice because they bring new energy, interesting perspectives, and difficult questions. I also love constantly evolving our practice, so that we don’t get good at the moves. There are more important things to be good at, than the rehearsal of techniques.

The most important aspect of exercise, is to expand oneself. We grow best when we are highly conscious, connected, and open minded. That’s what we practice being good at.
